I'm thinking of cutting kibble out of my dog's diet completely now I cook half of my dog's food, with pet mince , tomato puree 🍅 & a little mixed diced low carb veg such as carrot 🥕 , zucchini, broccoli 🥦 so far he's been reasonably fit and healthy. Need to be careful also avoiding fatty treats even occasional bits off a lamb chop. I don't trust ANY treats who knows what's in them ?!

My standard LOVES to GO anywhere . Out to dinner, shopping, to hotels, sailing, Maryland to Miami car rides. He doesn’t care as long as he’s with me. People don’t understand why he’s always going places with me but I know it makes him happy and he makes me happy. He understands so much language! But he is super chill- no barking no accidents when I have to leave him either. But life is so much more fun with him.

Well any dog that isn’t socialized can be a problem. Male dogs in general can be a problem with dominance if not socialized properly, namely realizing the owners are the alpha. Territorial can be a good thing AGAIN as long as they are socialized and know you are the alpha. Now the health issues are a thing for male and female Rottweilers, this is a result of bad breeding within the breed. That’s why it’s super important when you go to get it Rottweiler, you get one from a reputable breeder who can give you a family record of the dogs lineage, thus a way to prove that there is no inbreeding. Sure, Rottweiler’s are an energetic breed, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. As long as you give them a huge backyard to run in and plenty of toys to play fetch with trust me, the dog will love you for it. he take him to the park a place where he can socialize… wow what a concept. As far as their size goes, I put them in the medium size category because they’re way larger dogs than them and we smaller dogs. Also the size factor is not going to intimidate you if you buy one as a puppy which again I recommend because it helps that owner/Alpha bond with the dog if it grows up around you. If you buy a puppy and raise it even when it gets to its full size it’s not gonna intimidate you because you’ve slowly seen it getting larger and larger as you own as you have owned it. All of the reasons he stated that having a male Rottweiler can be a problem can all be resolved if you are a good responsible owner. But I would say that for any dog breed. I had a male Rottweiler from the age of eight years old to around my late teens and he was the perfect dog in my opinion. He was fiercely loyal to the family, but also knew that myself, and my mother were his alphas and what we said and how we acted in a situation would have a huge impact on how he would interpret that situation. Good example one year we had family over for Christmas and one of my older cousins got wasted on alcohol. The dog was properly socialized so it was just walking around the party with no cares in the world when she decided she wanted to head over and popped his head a little rough over and over while it “good dog”. The dog I could tell did not like it whatsoever, and it looked at me and my mother. It could see that this person while not a threat was being an asshole. So the dog did not bite her did not attack her or snip at her. it raised its lips and gave it the meanest growl I have ever seen that dog give. That made my drunk cousin second guess her decision. She stopped backed away and avoided the dog for the rest of the night. That shows you if you socialize your dog properly, it will pay attention to you and cues from you as to how it needs to handle the situation. my cousin by our reaction was not a physical threat to him or ourselves, but he could tell by telling her to stop that she needed a little coaxing to get to that point.

The Malamute isa an awesome dog ! They are attractive and also have large *****. Keep them away from beautiful women. They are silent and don't like to brag. Many men are not jealous of dogs though. Dogs do have a history with women and that's OK. This breed is definitely smarter than Mike Scott.

Bulldogs definitely ARENT slow to learn. My 10 year old Yorkie still can’t get all commands right. My American Bulldog was so well behaved and could learn new things till the end and now my English Bulldog is the same learned everything as a puppy and MORE.

We loved my brothers wolf hybrid. To be fair, he trained it from a pup. He was strict and kept all 3 dogs on a schedule. We thought the dog was a Husky when he got it as a pup but as it grew the wolf look became very visible. He had to get it genetically tested bc he had a hard time finding apartments due to it looking wolf and husky. In order of greatest to least it was wolf, husky, malamute and akita. So he had limited rental ability due to the dog breed. But we didn't have many poblems with him, besides the fact that he was a great escape artist. When he got loose, it was hell to catch him bc he saw it as a game. Once half the kids in the neighborhood was trying to catch him when he got loose. When you finally decided to stop he'll come close enough to you to think he was done but just as you reach for him, sikes 😂😂😂 and gone he was. But he'd usually be found at the dog park. My brother moved to 2 different sides of town, and if someone idiot accidentally let his dog out (me, im some idiot). He would usually be found at that dog park, running around having the time of his life. Other negative/debatable traits. He was very protective and territorial. I don't care how many times he saw you or how well he knew you, when you came to that door you could not enter without my brother, his wife, me, or my son. He would have to walk you to each area of the house you were allowed and tell the dog to stand down for each room so he knew. Just dont step outside those areas cause he was on it. Also, he was a master pizza and donut thief. Any food you valued do not leave it out, he could open pizza boxes, pot lids, refridgerator doors and the oven. Smart dog, no food was safe. He was a bully and would try to intimidate our family and friends to get off his spot on the couch when he thought we weren't payi g attention. It was just passive aggressive behavior, like a low growl, or sitting on them or over them, or really close trying to slowly push them over 😂. But i blame myself. The dogs weren't allowed on the furniture but when my brother was gone I allowed it. They all had their spot. The lab-pit loved the corner because he was wierd, he sat on his but with his feet out front, like a human, back straight with one arm on the arm rest and he loved to watch tv. Even if we weren't watching tv we left it on for him bc he did. But the wolf hybrid was good with my son who was and 4 at the time. He would actually keep my on and the lab-pit from pulling out too many toys and make them pick up after themselves when they were done. I would laugh cause when he felt that was enough toys and mess he'd stand over the toy box and howl, make his wierd husky noises and my son would say okay boy, we're cleaning up. He would go stand over any toys they missed until they picked them up and put them away. Now I did hate how he would steal my sons food and hide. And had the audacity to whine and cry when i gave him a verbal whooping. I truly miss that dog. My brothers wife got him in the divorce 😢😢.

My Yorkipoo doesn’t bark or shed. He does like to fight other dogs no matter the size. Watch out for their joints and hips.

I've had both a Blue healer and a Red Healer who had the same parents and were brothers. The mother was a Red Healer, and the Father is a very large Blue Healer (70Lbs?). Both of mine ended up right at 60 Lbs full grown. The blue eventually ran away and got hit by a car.. the Red pushes limits, but always came when yelled at loud enough.

Believe the female more relaxed or laid back over the male, but this is with other breeds as well of the aspect I'm referring to.
